A somewhat Italian friend of yours is somewhat ecstatic about Italy’s victory over England to win the European Championship.
Your friend Brian – 25% Italian, 25% German, 50% Polish – found himself a little happy about the victory Sunday, though other parts indifferent. He is proud of the little bit of his Italian heritage, as well as those other countries he sorta identifies with.
“That was exciting,” Brian said. “My grandpa on my dad’s side – his dad was from Italy. So I watched a few minutes of the game, and it was awesome.”
Brian plans to watch soccer again in a few years.
