After giving it much thought Monday afternoon, area man Nick Maxwell tweeted “This. Is. Not. Normal” as part of a quote tweet of a CNN tweet about something President Donald Trump tweeted earlier in the day.
Maxwell reportedly considered using a clapping emoji in between words in his tweet, but instead opted for periods. He also considered tweeting THIS IS NOT NORMAL in all caps 15 times consecutively, but decided to save that tactic for something more serious.
Maxwell says that he believes sending the tweet means the resistance is one step closer to removing the “traitor in chief” from office, and he believes his work is done for the day. Tomorrow he plans to donate $11 to Beto O’Rourke.
