Democratic nominee Joe Biden suggested a range of new police reforms Thursday, chief of which was suggesting officers kick citizens in the nuts before resulting to any other sort of violence.

Biden – as an architect of the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 – suggested first shooting people in the leg, but went on to say kicking them in the nuts is probably more effective.

“The cops, they could say ‘looke here Cracker Jack’ and grab the rascal and kick him square in the nuts,” Biden told a crowd Thursday. “That’s how me and Corn Pop got out of mischief all the time way back in the day, I’ll tell ya. Kick him in the nuts and steal his lunch money.”

Both police officials and protesters were somehow united in disagreeing with Biden on this, though they both agreed that kicking in the nuts is pretty effective.
