As more and more Major League Baseball teams begin to expand their capacities due to an increase in COVID-19 vaccinations, the Texas Rangers are doing the same by expanding to 140% capacity at their stadium.

Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas began the year at 100% capacity and will expand to 140% in June. With that, the Rangers are adding new seats as well as jamming people into the aisles and some on the warning track in right field.

“It’s going to be great to have fans back,” Rangers outfielder Joey Gallo said. “It’s going to be even more special with them overflowing on the field, in the dugout, potentially in the batter’s box with me. I can’t wait until we can have a full 200%.”

The Rangers are offering space in the parking lot for those who still want to social distance.
