Various sources from offices across America have confirmed this week that staring at your laptop while in your office is significantly worse than doing the exact same thing from home, even though it is the same thing.

Employees of companies small and large have compared their experiences staring at their laptops at home – which while not ideal, often times was fine – to now staring at their laptops again in a cold, lifeless room with cubicles and people wearing pants. The latter experience was somehow dramatically worse despite it in theory being the same.

A smaller group of people who had no particularly obligations to ever stare at their laptop reported the most happiness.
