A local newspaper has issued a correction to a recent story in which it incorrectly reported sources’ names, as well as misreporting the places of the events, which were also falsely reported.
“Shit happens,” the brief correction in the Wednesday edition of the Oconomowoc Bee Gazette Times Dispatch Post read. “People make mistakes. We fudged a few details. Sue us.”
Subscribers to the paper were pleased the newspaper took accountability for its mistakes.
