The NFL is all clear to start the season on time and with no worries, after research concluded that concussions are not contagious.

Players across the league are at ease and excited to start next week knowing they are not at risk to catch concussions from other players, hopefully limiting the spread of concussions throughout the league. Had there not been this confirmation, however, some players were still ready to play.

“If I get the ‘cussion, I get the ‘cussion,” Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins said. “I respect other’s opinion if they want to wear a helmet, but it’s survival of the fittest, ya know.”

The league still won’t allot fans to attend games, out of fear that some of them may get concussions from each other.
