Major League Baseball – in conjunction with the Transportation Security Administration – has announced new steps to prevent cheating in the upcoming season. They include multiple agents in each on-deck circle with a wire-sniffing dog, and an x-ray machine with possible additional screening. Rob Manfred has accepted that this may hurt pace of play.
