Step 1: Don’t log into Twitter
This is a critical first step, as logging in will then put you on Twitter. We recommend not doing this as so you can stay off Twitter.
Step 2: Exit out of your browser
It’s nearly impossible to be on Twitter – at least from your desktop – with your browser open. Closing this is an important stopgap.
Step 3: Put your phone away
This will prevent all temptation. Some good alternatives to being on your phone include: enjoying the company of others, reading, or sitting with one’s own thoughts.
Step 4: Enjoy the outdoors
Being off Twitter will allow you to do things outside, which is the place opposite inside.
Step 5: Delete your Twitter
If all else fails, try this. You’ll be OK.
