A local woman tipped off police Monday that hundreds of black people are gathering and walking near her neighborhood Starbucks, for reasons she didn’t understand.

“There are at least 100, 200 of them!” Karen told police frantically. “I don’t understand what they’re doing. Must be up to no good. I’m outside the Starbucks. Trying my best to socially distance from them. Send help!”

Authorities tried to tell her they knew the gathering was happening and it was called a “protest,” but the woman got louder until police had to hang up. Karen was last seen trying to get to her SUV and leave the area immediately.
