Concluding the Senate impeachment trial for the week, the Trump legal team tried to pull a fast one and end the whole process, asking Chief Justice John Roberts for a bad court thingy.
The Trump legal team of Alan Dershowitz, Ken Starr and Lionel Hutz deployed the strategy Friday, but failed.
“I move for a bad court thingy,” Hutz said to Roberts.
“You mean a mistrial?” Roberts retorted.
“Yeah, that’s why you’re the judge and I’m the law-talking guy,” Hutz responded, before Roberts denied the request.
With the bad court thingy not happening, the trial may be carrying on yet.
