With more and more people being vaccinated in the United States, Dr. Anthony Fauci provided clarity on when things might return to normal, indicating soon within the next several million years.
“Definitely within the next 4.5 million years,” Fauci said. “We have a shot at opening things back up to normal by the next two or three geological epochs; we’re just talking about a few million years if we all are team players.”
“Even after being vaccinated, it is important to still wear your mask and socially distance. Being immune to the virus and unable to spread it to others is no reason to act as though you are immune to the virus and unable to spread it to others.”
