Congressman Eric Swalwell has struggled to get his 2020 presidential campaign off the ground, but he’s hoping a wave of endorsements on LinkedIn could give him momentum.
“We’re polling right around 0 percent right now, sure,” Swalwell said. “But once people start to acknowledge my public speaking abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Word, there is no stopping us.”
Swalwell, at present, has 112 connections and is endorsed for seven different skills by friends, family and ex-classmates. He trails Joe Biden – who has been building LinkedIn connections for decades – significantly.
