An employee of a local company conducted an entire Zoom call not realizing he was on mute, with his camera off while not owning a computer.
Kris Tashner thought he was giving a presentation on an entire strategic document, completely unaware he was on mute. He also did not notice his camera was off and that he did not have a computer.
“Common mistake,” Tashner said afterward, laughing. “Sometimes you just get so caught up in talking that you forget you accidentally muted yourself, and that you left your camera off and never owned a camera to begin with. Silly me.”
Tashner’s coworkers reportedly didn’t notice either as he was never on the call to begin with.
