Following the lead of the band formerly known as the ‘Dixie Chicks,’ Dixie Cups is also changing its branding and will from here on out be known as Dixie.
“We recognize it’s long past time to change,” the company said in a statement. “We can do better. We don’t need ‘cups’ in our name.”
The company has been praised for its decision.
