Cold Stone Creamery has finally entered the chicken sandwich wars, introducing its bold new Gotta Have It Chicken Wednesday.
Cold Stone’s sandwich comes after the news that McDonald’s will be rolling out a new chicken sandwich, both adding to the chicken sandwich wars that intensified with Popeyes, Chick-Fil-A and Wendy’s last year. Gotta Have It Chicken is cake batter ice cream, ketchup, mustard, pickles and raw chicken on a sesame seed bun. Among all the fast food restaurants’ chicken sandwiches, this is the only to feature ice cream, as well as raw chicken.
It is now available at all Cold Stone stores for $11.99.
