While reading news about the growing Democratic presidential primary field, a Nebraska man was stunned to learn that he, too, has formed an exploratory committee to run for president.
“No one told me about this,” said Tom Ransom, 38, of Omaha. “I was overwhelmed myself with how many candidates were running. Now I’m even more flustered with me in the mix.”
Ransom was unsure if he would support his own bid for president, acknowledging that he had to first learn more about his platform.
