Americans were shocked to learn today that Fox News Contributor and former Seinfeld guest actor Rudy Giuliani was actually once the mayor of the country’s biggest city.
Giuliani was not only elected and reelected mayor of New York, but then tried to parlay that tenure into running for president of the United States in 2008. That bid failed, clearly, but Americans were shocked to learn that also took place.
Giuliani’s name began trending Friday as people tweeted “that guy? Really?” and “the little guy on Fox used to be a politician?” in response to learning the news.
