As more and more Americans continue to demand Congress pass comprehensive public safety reforms, they also grow increasingly angry at big money’s influence over politicians, in particular that of the feral hog lobby.
“We need big money out of politics,” several users took to Twitter Monday night to proclaim. “In particular big hog.”
Voters across the political spectrum are furious that congress refuses to do anything to stop the sometimes 30-50 feral hogs from invading yards, especially when kids are sometimes out playing for 3-5 minutes. Democrats, Republicans and independents are all calling on Congress to do something to improve safety.
The hashtag #HogControlNow began circulating late Monday and early Tuesday in response, urging constituents to call their lawmakers. Legislation is said to be underway.
