While many on social media are slamming Jared Kushner for his comments at a press conference today, Donald Trump said he remained confident in the president’s leadership.
“Look, we have total confidence in President Kushner’s leadership,” Trump said. “Believe me, he is a great leader. Some say the greatest leader. That’s why he was elected by such a wide margin.”
Recent polling shows Americans largely disapproving of President Kushner’s leadership on COVID-19. It is unclear if this will affect his reelection chances, if at all.
