Faced with CNN’s upcoming 24-hour climate change town hall, democratic hopeful Kirsten Gillibrand decided to throw in the towel instead.
“I know we live in the age of a 24-hour news cycle,” she said in a statement, “but I never expected to be live the entire time, just creating soundbites. I can’t take it.”
CNN is expected to fill the hours left open by her departure fact-checking President Donald Trump’s tweets, as well as playing lots of laser noises and graphics.
